I agree with you that no one should be offended regardless of what people say.
But I take issue who say happy holidays or season greetings if the reason is to avoid offending people. If the reason you use happy holidays is because that's what you want to wish people have at her. But faux Pc and Faux outrage really shouldn't be part of it.
You do realize that government and corporate institutions are not people with beliefs? They are social constructs that people of all different faiths participate in. But yes, I guess you could say including minority groups dilutes the experience for the majority. However, minority groups still pay taxes that support those government organizations and have the right to choose whether or not to spend money to corporations.

Also, if you're such a big time atheist, why not just drop the word "Christ" from the name of your celebration? Is that going to stop you from getting together with family and friends. Does that change your tradition in any way? According to you it's an atheist tradition with Celtic roots. Therefore, wouldn't removing the reference to the Christian holiday not further re-affirm your Celtic roots? Maybe it's time to shed that Christian oppression you Celtic pagans have suffered under for so long?

Once again, I don't really care about any of this stuff, but you're talk about "diluting" the dominant culture I find a bit troubling. Even in the current example, no one is chastising Starbucks for the multitude of Christmas references they have (and there are many). It's not an example of PC thuggery. It's the exact opposite crowd who is up in arms here and feigning offence. If find your line of argument similar to the ultra-religious crowd who says they are being persecuted against because they can't properly express their hatred of homosexuals.
