The Canucks are now 8 points ahead of us and the Kings 7 with a game in hand. With 3 point games it is going to be tough to make up those differences.

That means we have to out play Anaheim who is 2 points up with a game in hand. I am not sure I like those odds.

And that doesn't even take into consideration SJ and Arizona who we also have to outplay as well.

I guess the head to head games can be a positive if we can win them in regulation but those games seem to result in a lot of 3 point games which aren't a great way to make up big gaps.
