Just terrible from Gio. You can't wait and coast through the neutral zone...either pass it or take it into the zone yourself.
I get the feeling that he's feeling he has to live up to the contract, and, the fact that Hamilton looks like a 6th defenseman, so ther's not a lot of help there. He should be on the ice with under a minute to go, not Wideman.
