So I've been reading forum posts, and it sounds like they changed the calculations for armour penetrations. While the calculations are now (more?) correct, they are causing BB shells to over penetrate the lighter cruiser armour, while most of the time bouncing on the citadel due to angle bounce mechanics. Explains why I couldn't crit any ship at close range, but one-shot a cruiser at 12km out.
Hopefully they adjust the calcs to balance things out. I feel like I shouldn't be getting more citadel hits from a cruiser on a battleship than the other way around.
