Me and a couple of friends had gone surfing before work, and after we were done and I was changing in my truck, my pager was going crazy.
There were a couple of pages from a guy at work saying 'Don't bother coming in', and 'stay off the freeway'. My wife was also paging me to find out where I was. We had thought a big earthquake had hit LA - we turned on the radio and the first thing we heard was 'The United States is under attack - people we are at war'. The reporter was just frantic describing how all these planes had been hijacked and no one knew what the hell was going on. We went back to my place and watched the first tower crumble. I will always remember how frantic the reporter sounded on the radio - I thought WWW III was underway
