People love to bitch about how they're no longer allowed to say Merry Christmas even though that is completely untrue. Yes, stores have policies that ask their employees say Happy Holidays, can you blame them? Why try and alienate potential customers?
But besides those working in Retail, is there some sort of "Christmas Salutation Police" going around that I am unaware of? I have never once in my entire life actually heard of anyone facing any sort of backlash or negative consequences for saying Merry Christmas and the only time it seems to ever be brought up is by Christians pretending that their "rights" are being marginalized.
People bitch about not being able to say Merry Christmas more often than they actually say Merry Christmas.
