You said that we should do a similar steal of a deal to get Strome and I was pointing out that at the time of the deal it wasn't that big of a steal and ended up that way because of an injury.
So I guess if your point is we should trade a valuable piece to get Strome and then have him get a concussion then awesome but if not then comparing the Seguin deal to trading for Strome would have us moving a very valuable piece like Eriksson was after coming off 3 70+ point seasons and being a very good defensive player.

Umm no it wouldn't because Strome is nowhere near the prospect that Seguin was. Dr Doom wrote why he thought we might be able to take advantage of the Islanders the same way Dallas took advantage of Boston. I said if that was a possibility I'd be all for it.
