The Saudis also offered to reign in the Chechen terrorists. Putin declined and the Saudis left Russia in a huff. Shortly after, the Saudis supported the Iranian nuclear deal because they need some quid pro quo from the USA vis Syria/Yemen.

Suggesting an opinion that the Saudis backed this is one thing; however, proving it is another. This is why the narrative is steered towards ISIS or a mechanical failure. Without proof, the Russians will not / can't do anything directly to Saudi Arabia. I doubt a smoking gun will be found that points to the Saudis. All there is is speculation and not much direct action can be taken against speculation without making matters even worse in the region.

Thus, if the Russians truly believe the Saudis are behind this, you will likely see an increased level of assistance to the Houthis in Yemen. Houthis and other Shi'ites pressing the Kingdom from the south will be a huge problem.

Point 2. If you believe it is ridiculous, you are naive. The USA bombs civilians every single day of the year and no one cares. The US Navy brought down an Iranian airliner with not so much as a shoulder shrug. They bombed a hospital in Afghanistan and then fired on doctors who were running away. You think they'd have a problem turning a blind eye to the Saudis bringing down a Russian plane? People need to quit regarding the USA as some benevolent do-gooder and realize that they are capable of nasty stuff.

Point 3. The US government cares about the Saudi government because the Saudi government sells their oil in US dollars. Full stop.

None of those points provide any concrete evidence to support your claim. Anyone can connect random dots of information to make outlandish claims.

I suggest you watch the youtube video below, and listen to the authors conclusion very closely. It has Game of Thrones spoilers here, so be aware of that, but the conclusion still applies to you.
