This has been used as a comparison to Bennet many times. It is not really a huge deal at this point in his career.

I live with two Montreal fans so I see a lot of their games over the past couple of years and I think they left Chuck on the wing too long, 1 season is understandable, especially if it's sort of a rotating thing, but I asides from understanding defensive responsibly faceoffs are huge and the only way to get good at faceoffs in the NHL is take faceoffs in the NHL.

Chucky has almost already taken more faceoffs this year than any year before and already more than his first two years combined. While his percentage isn't bad we can see by the splits that most of his wins are coming in the offensive zone and against other leth handed players.
Monahan has started rough this year but was nearly 50% in every category last with over 1000 faceoffs in both of his first two years
