I don't think Philly could take on Raymond, even if we took Schenn off their hands. Wideman seems like a good fit for them, but the trade doesn't really add up it's just too big.
Putting myself if Philly's shoes, Voracek isn't touchable right now good player great price tag he just needs a bit of time, I would want a D that can move the puck up ice and qb the pp, and cheap forwards that can fill minutes so I can try and dump some bad salary.
In the Flames shoes, I just have a hard time seeing them pickup a retread goaltender in exchange for any real assets. What is a guy like Neuvirth really going to do for the Flames playing the way they have been playing.
My first thought is something like
Wideman + Colborne <--> Schenn + Simmonds
It's always really hard to put yourself in the other teams shoes, so I'm probably way off.
