The hate-on for Bollig is ridiculous. He played great minutes for his role last night. It's like some of you think that the only metric to value a player is skill. You can't roll 12 Michael Grabners. That's just not how hockey works.
Furthermore, it's not Brandon Bollig's fault that this team is 4-9-1. It's also not Mason Raymond's fault. Or Deryk Engelland's.
It sure would be nice to ice a team of Johnny Gaudreaus, but that's not possible, and you don't put a skilled player with top-6 upside and defensive acumen issues and no physical play on the 4th line.
Get over it already.
