Obviously the article is mocking of all the Patriots paranoia. I found it kinda funny though and it will, no doubt, instigate some of the Pat's haters.

The funny thing is the points they have added up in the last 2 minutes of the first half and the first drive of the second, thanks to typically having the ball to start the 3rd quarter, has been an unreal amount over the last few years. I cant quite recall the opener against Pitt, but I believe they have had the ball to start the second half in every game but last week. Winning the coin toss, or losing it and the other team choosing not to defer, has absolutely been a bigger factor than any silly ball deflation tactics.
