It is a crappy season so far, but as we are still in rebuild bad season or not if he is the type of leader that is good for the team you keep him.
It may not be exactly the same but this season is reminding me of Colorado getting in s playoff spot then next season they "rank" & win the macKinnon lottery and following season back in the mix for decent position again.
Sometimes bad seasons just happen.... If it went two seasons like this then yes I'd agree to fire Hartley. Overall I think this is opportunity to bring up Arnold or others rookies & let them learn struggle then succeed at NHL level.... cast off veterans that aren't part of future plans
