University certificate; diploma or degree
above bachelor level (Education): CON-0.00594245 LIB 0.439910781

Not much correlation either way for education and Conservative voting status. A pretty substantial correlation between education and Liberal voting though. I personally don't think that means much in the bigger picture, but I wasn't the one who brought it up.

Conversely

No postsecondary certificate; diploma or
degree (Education): CON 0.178411878 LIB -0.08401693

A small positive correlation between no post-secondary and Conservative voting vs a slight negative correlation for Liberal.

Interestingly there is just as strong of a positive correlation for voting Con with a high school diploma as there is for Liberal and Bachelors or higher. And a slight negative for Liberals. This suggests that whatever is happening to people to make them switch from Conservative to Liberal happens at some point in post secondary.

High school diploma or equivalent

If you go back and look at what the pollsters were reporting, the Liberals tended to be in the lead among those who had completed a university degree.
