Do you want to walk around naked downtown in the summer time? (Actually that sounds kinda nice after I was sweating like a pig at the Stampede this year haha)

Sure, why not. I don't think there is anything offensive or immoral about nudity either. When it comes to social liberalism, I don't have many boundaries. This reminds me of the argument when the anti-gay marriage people were saying things like; "What's next... people marrying their dogs?". If people want to and it makes them feel good, then have at'er. It doesn't hurt me at all. (Not that I really think it would be an issue).
I am not a Harper hater and don't claim that he was socially oppressive, but he didn't do anything progressive either. Besides the changes to drug policies mandatory sentencing, the Liberals also want to push more green initiatives, offer more social assistance to aboriginals and address gender inequality. These were not priorities for the last government. I get that conservatives do not prioritize these things and therefore will not criticize Harper for not addressing these things, but I personally see them as priorities at this point in time.
I don't see why anyone should have to defend their political leanings. If someone is a social conservative, I am fine with that. No need to explain to me or anyone else why you feel that way.
