Hopefully OP never travels to any of the not-so-free countries around the world and gets to witness how truly oppressed people live in some regions.
It always annoys me when someone (a Canadian citizen no less) makes out the Canadian government to be some evil entity that oppresses it's people to no bitter end. Oh wait, there's actually countries around the world that do that to their own people? But we have it sooooooo bad here, right? All of our freedom and liberties. Yeah, it's so horrible.
