People keep talking like this is a bad thing... "He's only good for scoring goals." That's not exactly an easy thing to do in the NHL these days. I'll take a guy who can shoot the puck and score any day.

He plays a smart game and still wins battles along the boards.... He will also drop the gloves to defend a team mate. You can bet on it that iggy would drop a guy for going after Johnny if they were on a line together. Plus he would be a great fit with Gaudreau... Johnny often gains the zone with speed, creates time and space with his hands, draws in defenders and then makes beautiful passes to whichever guy comes in late to the high slot... Can't think of many guys in the league better suited to being the shooter in that scenario than iginla. Think how many times Johnny made that play to wideman last year... And that's a big reason why wideman was so productive.
