I have Vivint and am basically happy with what I get for my money. The keypad door is cool/helpful, I feel my kids are safer in the house at night and we use the camera in the baby's room to monitor when he's sleeping or messing around.
The few times the alarm has been triggered Vivint engages immediately and they have been courteous (aka not dbags).
The one thing I will flag is the contract term. The standard term Vivint sales pushes for (and don't mention until the contract is out) is 5 years, which is freaking insane for a door to door sale. I was able to get it to 3.5 years which is still too long in my opinion but I have a friend who had the package already and had done my research. In retrospect I'm sure i could have gotten it down to 2 years if I threatened to walk away from the deal.
