After how well Brodie played when Giordano went out last year, I had the feeling he was actually the better of the two. Seeing how the season started without him, and how different the team plays when he is on the ice, and now that he is getting closer to being 100% back, I am convinced he is the best player we have.
Gaudreau is awesome, but that end to end shorthanded play by Brodie in the first was just the definition of all-star player; force a turnover, make a scoring attempt and still be the first one back.
