i had installed something like this. We had pumpkins, scarecrows a talking head and other fall paraphernalia. Fairly child-friendly.
By 8 pm we had 3 kids, one was wearing a Shoppers Drug Mart bag on her head as a costume. We did leave a basket of candy at the door and left for the party after that. Practically none was taken by 1 am when we got back. This was the lowest level of Halloween traffic I 've ever seen...
