The Flames obligation, to both the fans and the players, is to ice the best possible line up they can in an attempt to make the playoffs. On the evidence of the last starts these two goalies have given the coaching staff it is absolutely the right call to start Ramo.

Ortio looked completely overwhelmed against the Habs and it will not hurt him to watch a little bit more before being thrown back into the fire of what has become the Flames goal crease. Doing so at this point ay even destroy any confidence he has going right now.

His starts will come in due time as he is the one guy that wont be sent down to Stockton, but that doesn't mean you give him games just because. Hartley has always gone with the guy if he won his last start, and that's Ramo for this next game.
