San Diego, Calif. – Despite another marvelous performance from goaltender Jon Gillies, the Stockton Heat drop a Halloween night contest in San Diego 3-2 to the Gulls when San Diego’s Max Friberg scored in the dying moments of the third to seal the victory for the home team. Gillies stopped 33 of the 36 shots he faced, while Austin Carroll’s first pro goal and Oliver Kylington’s second pro goal provided the offense.
