Given human evolution, it is physically impossible to see through solid objects. Kris Russell, last I checked, is a human being, which qualifies as a solid object. Said solid object obstructed Ortio's view, and then collapsed to block a shot (which further obstructed Ortio's view of the play and shot).
There is no amount of shifting, head tilt, straining, etc. that is going to compensate for the obstruction...especially at the pace of NHL hockey.

Anyways I did think you said you weren't changing your mind so I will leave at that was a weak goal by Ortio and coupled with the other 3 it has been a poor night for him so far (and saying poor might be being kind).
