That's what pissed me off about the Assassins Creed franchise (among other things). I'm a platinum trophy whore and it pissed me off so bad that they had ridiculous multiplayer trophies (like reach lvl 50) yet the community dies down after a few months.
Then with the next gen, you were forced into paying PS+ whereas online was free before.
