I get it, but at this point, you buy your own candy for your kid, they can still trick or treat and collect a bag of Candy but when you get home you take their bag away and give them a bag that you as a parent put together.
I can just imagine giving out the lame candy on that list, and getting the thanks of one child and my house completely egged by the other 50 for being a lame 0.
As for the first note, the evil in me keeps saying that if I got that note about not scaring their kid with my decorations, that my response would be "Game on".
As a parent if someone threw a bag of carrot sticks in my kids bag, I would probably toss them, not because they're healthy but because they're an un sealed item.
