I can honestly understand if it's a nut allergy that is so bad that loosely sealed boxes of peanuts would pollute the entire bag with enough peanut dust to trigger a reaction.
However, encouraging houses to give out their own chopped bags of carrots? I would not let my kids eat a rando bag of carrots from some house...
Also encouraging people to give out raisins should automatically result in a fine and criminal prosecution of some kind. Nobody likes raisins.
