I believe we go back to continuing to "Win and stay in" approach that Hartley has been doing all season, just now with Ortio and Ramo.

However, doesn't matter what they say. The fact would be they are bringing up a player and playing him ahead of Ortio. They can say all they want, their action says "we think this guy is more talented than you, the only reason you're here is contract status". If there was a significant gap in talent-level, it could be understood, but from what we've seen, there isn't.

As to who starts first this weekend? Ramo, Ortio, doesn't really matter. They will each get one start.
Ortio has to be smart enough to realize he wasn't waived because the Flames thought he would be claimed - ASSET MANAGEMENT. It wasn't necessarily that he proved himself better than the two vets.
People here want Ortio in front of both Hiller and Ramo - fine. Doesn't mean that's where he belongs or where Hartley is ready to play him. He's still the young guy learning the ropes... that takes time.
