I don't have a problem with the first one as I mentioned. Especially because the parents were forthright enough to use their names and phone number. As discussed there are probably a lot of scenarios where a little common sense can make things fun for the kid and the neighbourhood.

That second one would piss me off though. First of all, eliminating gluten, dairy AND peanuts doesn't leave much left. Secondly, people have different budgets and likes when it comes to buying Halloween candy. Restricting them to certain choices for one kid is quite a bit of an ask. Lastly, this parent wasn't as forthright as the first, and didn't include their name and number. If you can't stand up for what you desire, why should anyone listen to you?
