I live in BC but was in Calgary a couple weekends ago and saw a Carson bumper sticker.
Got me thinking though, years ago I read three of Carson's books, mostly about his childhood and career. Very fascinating. He came from a tough upbringing and really worked hard to become a world renowned neurosurgeon. Its been a long time since I read the books but I do remember a religious element to them, cant remember how much.
So anyways, I see Carson running for president, and think to myself, "this is going to be a great breath of fresh air for the conservatives." A campaign based on hard work, intellect and science, compassion. What can go wrong? Well, it turns out this guy is a total nut bar. Like I said, its been a long time since I read his books, and maybe there was a more religious tone than I remember, but this guy is crazy.
