Totally agree, I don't think they can keep the pace for another 13 episodes though. It will be interesting to see where the writers go with it as the pace inevitably slows, something that the show routinely gets criticized for, though I don't necessarily agree.

Some of the slow episodes have been my favorite episodes.
I think the problem is the show attracts a casual audience. The casual audience turns in for gore and action. When they see an episode that focuses on mood or character development they get on twitter to complain.
The show needs to keep doing what it's doing. It still has a ton of great material from the comics to work with.
