Stafford has 5 goals 7 pts in his first 8 games. the Jets signed him for 2 years a teh same salary as the Flames gave Frolik for 5.

I think we all know how you feel about Frolik. No use discussing him with you.
As for your "2nd line" ...... I think its time for flames fans to accept that Backlund is never going to be a 2nd line scoring player. He is a very good defence minded 3rd line center. If you need to play him 2nd line center because of injury he is your man. He is not a 82 game 2nd line scoring center.
Bennett is going to be good, but he is not a 2nd line player yet. He might not even get there by the ned of the year.
I like Colborne, but he is not a 2nd line player. He is a good 3rd line player. Remeber when flames traded for him and management thought he could be an effective bottom 6 player. I forgot the name of the guy they used as comparison, but he was not an 82 game 2nd line scorer.
