I'd rather move out Russell than Wideman. Wideman is better at everything except blocking shots. Further I think both a Wideman +Brodie pairing and a Hamilton + Brodie pairing is far better than a Russel + Brodie pairing.

Gio - Wideman
Brodie-Hamilton
Smid - Nakladal

is what I'd like to see going forward.

I appreciate Russel's tenacity, but if there's a lot of interest for him, I'd trade him to the first team that offers a decent return.
