I read something about the increasing role of police officers in American schools, and the lack of any complementary training to that effect. There is an increasing number of violent acts by officers on students with low or no provocation. This has nothing to do with the relative level of sociological violence.

We had a CPS officer at LBHS all day, everyday.
He mostly played sports with us students.
