You're right. Some goalies would cover up after the first or second save, especially considering they weren't all that impressive of shots. Or at least control the rebound so it doesn't end up right in the slot ready for them to shoot it a third time.
Similar to why nobody gave credit to Butler for blocking shots, but do praise Russell for it. Butler only had to block so many because he kept giving it back to the opposition.
