We can blame all the goals scored on the lack of quality goaltending from the start of the year, but holy cripes, Dougie Hamilton is lost out there! The Flames D group is small, but with the way Hamilton plays the defensive zone, they've remained small even though the average size has gone up. And for all those times I've been complaining how soft Jbo was, now we have another big d-man playing exactly like that. Cripes, no wonder Boston gave him up that easily. Maybe he should've ended up in Edmonton. So far, the acquisition of Hamilton is a head scratcher. Maybe the Flames should've stayed on track with the rebuild and not traded away their first round pick to sign Hamilton.
