Cain was not going no matter what he is a terrible runner. He was waved home when the throw was a muffin to second instead of the cut off guy. You hit the cut off and Cain stops at third and you have a run down between first and second since he over turned first
It was a single only way a runner from 1st should score is if it was a hit and run and a bad relay throw home.
