My Medical license allows me to use my medication outside of public property any location smoking is permitted. The truth tho is If it is legalized it wont be allowed openly just like alchol.

Medical would still be exempt I suspect as it would be denying a person the right to take their prescribed medicine. I think any change in that regard would be done at the provincial level.
I also do not think there will be as much smoking as people think since legalization means things like edibles and oils become more available. I know I would rather be able to use a THC/CBD infused oil that I know the concentration/potency of than smoke or vape it as it would be much more convenient, subtle and smell less. Well at least I think I know that, I just got a prescription for medical marijuana on Thursday, so I haven't gotten to do anything yet and have never consumed marijuana before. This admission is funny because my parents have smoked the stuff for as long as I can remember, but I still have never used it in 31 years.
