I suppose it's *possible* that if the fan didn't touch the ball, the ball hits the top of the wall and continues out. Which would be a home run.
I'm STRETCHING there.
However, I think we can all agree that the call on the play should be irrelevant and the "command centre" or whatever you want to call it, should make the call based on what is more likely than not.
If that was the rule, it would have been 1-0 with a runner at second. Instead because of the BS call on the play, the home run stands unless there's closeup footage without being zoomed, on the perfect camera angle, with the wind blowing North by North West, and the moon is sitting perfectly crescent in the sky.
