Not sure what you are trying to say here.. Gaudreau can POTENTIALLY play with an elite #1 center in Bennett OR he can ALREADY play with an elite #1 center.... BT is not going to be silly enough to just give away Bennett without insuring that Stamkos will re-sign.

Was under the impression that Stamkos was a winger.
I stand corrected.
Nevertheless, Stamkos does seem to be a shoot-first style center, whereas I think it would be more beneficial to this team to have a Thornton-style elite playmaking center.
