Yeah I'll watch the video when I get home (while cuddling my fuzzy friend).
My question is why is the gun his go-to deterrent? Billy club or tazer I'm sure would work just fine, and have much less opportunity for collateral damage. Even just shooting the gun straight up (while not smart) probably would have stopped the dog from the noise alone.
I just don't get the zero-100 reaction. My dog has run up to people before too. He's a big dog, but would attack anything in his life. I can see why people might be freaked out to see him running towards them looking for love, so I've mostly trained it out of him, but if someone shot him for that...damn.
