I don't know. There's legitimate reason to be frustrated at management's decisions here. Hartley refused all last season to declare a #1. He clearly never had full trust in either goalie. With Ortio's play last year the writing should have been on the wall. There was no danger in bringing in Ortio to play a tandem role.
Keeping Ramo just complicated things for the team. When asked over the summer about the 3 goalie situation, Treliving would reply "It's a good problem to have"
I don't think he can say with a straight face that the goalie situation as it is playing out is a good problem to have.
