I haven't checked the FA list, but having said that, with no up and comers in the Jays farm, I'm thinking resigning both Dickey and Estrada is necessary. They're both guys who will get you to the playoffs, as well as Price. Dickey then moves to the 5th starter who won't see playoff action (unless he's held to the bullpen). The key would be the 2nd and 3rd starter. Estrada as 3rd or 4th is perfect. It's going to be a really difficult off-season for AA.
Just out of curiosity, if the Jays happen to make it past this round (I'm skeptical, even as a fan), given Loup's situation, do you risk being short on lefties if he has to leave again, or do you leave him off the WS roster? I guess we don't know if it's a family illness, but if it's the current situation, I don't keep him on the roster, and instead have Buerhle, and I also take out Hawkins for Jeff Francis, while also maybe waiting for Cecil. What ever happened to Delabar?
