Great timing to put Kulak back. His game was starting to fade a bit, so send him back with good vibes on a good stint in the NHL and a 'see you soon' -- opposed to 'go find your game again' if they let him flounder. Not that he was going to flounder, just that they noticed the play and excitement starting to slide a bit.
Nakladal was a lot of fun to watch in pre-season. Really looking forward to what he can bring to this team in desperate need of some pep.
At risk of sounding too wide-eyed, I wouldn't be surprised to see him getting a few reps in practice with Giordano. No question Gio wants a partner until Brodie comes back, and I'm not ready to give up on Russell and Wideman finding their groove together again.
