Regardless your profession, I think it important that you live where you work.
I have lived in smaller communities near larger centres and when we had doctors, teachers, police officers etc. working in the community but living elsewhere, it never really worked out. I'm sure its still an issue in that and other communities, if it's a good enough place to take a paycheque from it should be a good enough place to raise a family, make friends and spend that paycheque.
