It's not like he was living in New York and working in Vancouver, making it impossible to get to the rink each day.

it was morning skates he didnt attend, was never on the ice with the team
the team even put a murphy bed in his office so that if he needed to take a nap he would stay in the city, still went home to Point Roberts
