For those interested, I own the North location of Phoenix Comics in town (1010 16th Ave NW, near SAIT or the 16th ave Earls). While I cant give a blanket discount to CPers (for one thing, most of the employees here would have no idea what you are talking about, and I'm not in every day). We do have some options for you to get your comics a little cheaper anyway.
First of all, we already reprice all all TPBs and GNs to reflect a more accurate Canadian Cover price. Often this saves you $5-$10 right there.
Second we have our disount card, which cost $10 and gives you 10% off all comics, including GNs and TPBs.
Finally we have our file service, which is for the hard core collector. It gets you 15% off, but has a deposit and minimum monthly order requirements.
For those of you having trouble finding stuff like Sin City or Dark Knight, we have those in stock everyday at both locations... along with pretty much every other inprint trade or GN. We also have approximately infinite manga for those of you looking for a yaoi fix (we wont judge you).
