I recently bought the trades for Sea of Red - pirates & zombies - can't lose.

Also,

The losers series (Vertigo) and Queen & Country (Oni Press) - some great espianage stuff.

Testament has a biblical undertone, I want to get that trade next.

Hawaiian Dick - 1950's detective story set in the Islands

If you like westerns, go with Jonah Hex - there is a showcase volume (500 pages) in black and white reprinting the old Wierd Western Tales - as well as a trade of the recent revitalization is available next week.

Ennis' Punisher is a ride. I am not a Marvel fan, but Rucka's Wolverine was good.

There is some great independant stuff out there - Last of the Independants, Smoke & Guns, Filler. The Rabbi's Cat, Three Strikes.

TV tie-ins - CSI and '24'

Great Oldies coming back into print - Alien Legion and the Gold Key Star Trek.

Exterminators looked good and I was thinking about getting it. On your recommendation, I think I will.
