Meanwhile, Treliving needs to be basically ringing round every team in the league seeing if they'll take either of the 2 vets. Don't care about the return, a 7th, a crappy AHL player, anything. Just get one of them gone. If a trade fails, then you waive Hiller and demote him when nobody takes him.
For me, as I said at the weekend, both Ramo and Hiller are struggling because of the uncertainty created by having 3 goalies on the roster. This has to be dealt with, then hopefully the 2 that are left can settle down and actually start producing NHL level form.
This has to be sorted by the time they go on the road trip after the Red Wings game.
