Yeah, other then the waste of Osuna as far as the Royals getting to see some of his pitches for later on in the series, good to see it not be over as quick and keep them focused for tomorrow, and identify some bullpen issues.
I don't think Lowe or Sanchez should've been lifted early, nor Hendriks for that matter given the lead. Gibby getting too trigger happy, after arguably (though it worked out) not taking Stroman out an inning or so earlier than he did.
Smoak won't see the field again.
Won't have the crew chief to worry about playing "Ump show", at least behind the plate again this series.
No way the Royals can use Cueto again IMO, but they may have to if it goes 7. He got some early pitches go his way, but then didn't get them an inning later, and the Jays teed off when he started going inside. Maybe in a bigger ball park he gets away with some of that, but tough call to have confidence in him again, but it is Yost so who knows.
Tomorrow's the big one...Jays can tie it up, I like them winning 2 of 3. They go down tomorrow, even though I can see them winning in Toronto Wed., it may be by pulling out all the stops in doing so, leaving having to win Game 6/7 with a depleted pitching staff on the road.
Dickey - Gm 4
Estrada - 5
Price - 6
Stroman -7
?
Or do you go with Price in Game 5 with the energy at home on shorter rest and put Estrada in the bigger ball park in KC (no matter how Game 4 goes) for Game 6?
