However, now that we have a liberal government, the potential of having effective representation in a liberal majority government by people like Grant and Hehr is something we should all want, even if you'd rather a different party was governing, and a different candidate representing you within that government.

I don't feel like my riding was particularly well represented even when Conservatives were in power. This basically changes nothing, except that the MPs are now maybe a smidgen less beholden to the party leadership.
